What We Do
Split the Juice is a community platform built for UK surfers. We make it easy to find lifts to the beach, buy and sell second-hand boards, connect with coaches and surf schools, discover surf shops, and stay on top of conditions at over 60 UK breaks — all in one place.
Our members share fuel costs fairly through our lift-sharing system, access exclusive discounts from surf brands and partner businesses, and stay connected through our community chat features — the "Shack Chat."
We're surfers building for surfers. Our mission is to reduce the friction around every surf trip so you can spend more time in the water and less time figuring out logistics.

Built-in Coaching Suite
Split the Juice includes a professional coaching suite designed to help coaches pinpoint and improve a surfer's technical abilities. Coaches can rate students across five key dimensions — take-off, trim, turns, wave reading, and flow — to generate an overall surf progression level and track improvement over time.
Every coaching review is linked directly to a surfer's session journal, giving both coach and student a clear, structured record of each session — including video analysis, personalised feedback, and a plan for the next session.

We work closely with a growing network of surf industry partners — from coaches and surf schools to board shapers, clothing brands, photographers, and surf shops — to bring exclusive member-only discounts directly to you.
Our partner programme is built around one idea: every pound you spend on surfing should go as far as possible. Members access unique discount codes and offers from trusted brands who share our love for the ocean and the community around it.

Membership
Split the Juice is a membership-based platform. Members pay £1 per month or £5 per year for full access to all features — ride sharing, the board marketplace, partner discounts, community chat, surf reports, and more. There are no contracts and members can cancel anytime.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store payment card details on our servers.
