Community Guidelines

1. Be Respectful

• Treat every member with respect, regardless of experience level, gender, age, or background.
• Constructive criticism is welcome. Personal attacks, insults, and bullying are not.
• Disagreements happen — keep them civil and focused on the topic, not the person.

2. No Harassment

• Harassment of any kind — repeated unwanted contact, threats, or intimidation — is strictly prohibited.
• Do not share another person's private information (address, phone number, etc.) without their explicit consent.
• Sexual harassment, unwanted advances, and explicit messaging without consent will result in immediate account suspension.

3. No Hate Speech or Discrimination

• Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited.
• Slurs, derogatory language, and dehumanising content will be removed and may result in permanent account removal.

4. No Illegal Content

• Do not post content that is illegal under UK law, including but not limited to: content that promotes drug use, content that infringes copyright, and content involving minors in inappropriate contexts.
• Do not use the platform to facilitate illegal transactions or activities.
• Do not impersonate other users, businesses, or public figures.

5. Video & Media Content

• Only upload videos and images that you own or have the right to share.
• Do not upload content that is sexually explicit, graphically violent, or intended to shock or disturb.
• Surf footage, session clips, and coaching videos are encouraged — keep it relevant to the community.
• Do not post videos that contain personal information about others without their consent.

6. Marketplace Conduct

• Listings must be accurate and honest. Do not misrepresent the condition, specifications, or value of items.
• No spam listings or duplicate posts.
• Do not use the marketplace for anything other than surf-related gear.
• Scams, fraudulent listings, or attempts to deceive buyers/sellers will result in permanent account removal.

7. Ride Sharing Conduct

• Ride contributions must not exceed actual vehicle running costs. No profit may be made from passengers.
• Drivers must hold a valid UK driving licence and appropriate insurance.
• Be reliable — if you can no longer make a ride, notify your passengers as early as possible.
• Do not use ride-sharing connections to solicit or harass other members.

8. No Spam or Commercial Promotion

• Do not use community chats or messaging to spam, advertise, or promote services unrelated to Split the Juice partners.
• Unsolicited commercial messages will be removed and may result in account suspension.

9. Reporting Mechanism

If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines:

• Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any post, message, or listing and select "Report".
• For urgent matters, email Splitthejuicetest@gmail.com directly.
• All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 48 hours.
• Reports are confidential — the person being reported will not be notified of your identity.

10. Content Removal & Account Actions

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice. Repeated or serious violations may result in:

• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account removal
• Referral to appropriate authorities in cases involving illegal content
